The rest of the journey uncover the Champa Kingdom and Khmer Kingdom, from the atmospheric Hoi An to Angkor temples.

Itinerary
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, welcome by local guide and transfer to Hanoi.
Check in at hotel (from after 14:00PM) and free time at leisure. In the late afternoon, cocktail reception at Twilight Sky Bar and dinner at Cau Go Restaurant, the most beautiful view of Hanoi – if weather permits.
Overnight in Hanoi. (D)
Start the day early to visit Long Bien Market before returning to hotel for breakfast. Explore
Original walking tour with Nguyen The Son. Understand the history of Hanoi through the
layers of architecture of its housings. Through his art works, The Son presents his current
bodies of work depicting the rapid metamorphosis of the landscape of Vietnam and how this drastic change is affecting the lifestyles of the society. Lunch at a charity restaurant, served by former homeless children. Later, visit the Temple of Literature, the first national university of Vietnam in the original architecture. Built in 11th century, the temple is dedicated to the worship of Confucius and the Scholars. Continue the visit in President Ho Chi Minh’s complex. In the late afternoon, return to hotel. The evening is at leisure.
Overnight in Hanoi (B, L)
Morning, five-hour drive towards the North along the new highway linking Hanoi and Lao Cai
by Topas Mountain Express Limousine. On the way, the Red River Delta rice fields landscape is changing into a medium altitude mountain range landscape, from rice fields to dry land farming. Arrive at Topas Ecolodge and check in at the lodge.
In the afternoon, hike the surroundings of Topas Ecolodge and explore the Red Dao village of Ban Moi. Walking through the valley is a good way to enjoy the magnificent mountain range.
At the village, visit a local house to experience the friendly villagers‟ daily life. From the
village, take another walk on a dirt road back to the lodge. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
Overnight at Topas Ecolodge (B)
This morning, take a short drive or cycle towards Muong Hoa valley. Then, start descending
walk into the valley, which is the largest paddy terrace in Sapa area. Get an insight from the
local tour guide about rice and rice growing. Witness and experience how the local plant and harvest, two of the most important activities in their daily life. The walk takes from Ta Van
village of Giay minority to Lao Chai village of Black H‟mong minority. After the walk, return to to the hotel to enjoy some time at leisure to relax at the lodge.
Overnight at Topas Ecolodge (B)
After an early breakfast and check out, travel by car to Muong Hum. On Sunday, it is always
packed with colorful ethnic minorities such as the Ha Nhi, Phu La, Tu Di, Black Dao, Giay,
Red H‟mong and Black H‟mong. After spending the whole morning exploring the market,
have lunch in a local restaurant.
Later, visit a nearby Ha Nhi minority village famous for their house built with clay. Continue
with a walk to the nearby village of Ta Giang Phinh, a beautiful valley home of Black H‟mong
ethnic. In the afternoon explore Sapa and climb up Ham Rong Hill for breathless panoramic
views of the city. At the end of the afternoon, transfer to Lao Cai Railway Station for an
overnight train back to Hanoi.

Arrive early morning in Hanoi and transfer to the checking in and breakfast. Later, boar a ship
for a cruise to Halong Bay. Indulge in a spot of lunch whilst absorbing the outstanding
landscape composed of steep cliffs and semi-immerged limestone peaks of the Gulf of
Tonkin; Embrace the surroundings of phenomenal awe-inspiring scenery as we continue cruising around Lan Ha Bay. Explore astonishing hidden lagoons, floating villages or even
swimming and kayaking at the foot of the verdant giant stones before dropping anchor in an
isolated area for the evening in the peaceful ambience of the bay. Under clear skies, the
upper deck offers a vista onto the magical performance of the sun descending below the
horizon of the violet sea, creating a whole palette of incandescent colors; lie down and, from
the upper deck, admire the beauty of the Lan Ha sunset.
In the evening enjoy a cooking demonstration and indulge into some fine cuisine in the
angelic atmosphere of this magnificent place before casting out into the enchanting waters of
the bay to enjoy a spot of squid fishing or relish with a comfortable massage on the top of the deck within the marvelous landscape.
Overnight on board (B, L, D)
Before breakfast, participate in a Tai Chi session on deck under the rise of the South East
Asian sun. Then continue the journey by heading out in a day boat trip to explore more parts
of the bay. Slowly cruise back through the majestic karst peeks heading back to the pier.
Disembark and transfer to Hanoi Airport for the late afternoon flight to Danang. On the way to
the airport, stop at the secular village Dao Thuc, famous for hundreds of years for its puppets
on the water. On arrival, watch a show performed by local artists. Then meet a craftsman and
learn about the making of these wooden dolls moving as if by magic on the water to the
rhythm of the folk music.
Arrive in Danang in the early evening. Dinner tonight will include a casual talk with NGO
GreenViet, an organization that protects the Son Tra Peninsula. Settle into the hotel, located
on the former China Beach.
Overnight in Danang (B, L, D)
Early morning, transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town for breakfast. Have the chance to discover
the city before the crowd. Hoi An is an invaluable cultural and historical heritage site. Marvel
at the historical Assembly Halls, the well-built Japanese Bridge and the mysterious Tan Ky
House. Stroll in the old streets and get the opportunity to tailor-made clothes at a Hoi An
renowned boutique. Later, return to the hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure to
explore the area on your own be it visiting the photogenic fishing village of Lang Co, cycling
around Noi Village, taking a guided street food tour with an expert, or simply, relaxing at the
hotel.
Overnight in Danang (B)

This morning is at leisure until check-out time. In the afternoon, transfer to Danang Airport for
the flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia. Upon arriving, welcome by local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The evening is a leisure.
Overnight in Siem Reap (B)
Transfer: 3h30 // Distance: ± 145 km
In the morning, visit the Roluos Group of monuments. This complex houses the Khmer
civilization earliest temples, also known as Hariharalaya. Discover the three main temples
which were dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Explore Chao Srei Vibol, small charming
temple on top of a hill which can hardly be seen by visitors. Take a walking tour around the
central sanctuary, a part which has not been restored and is in a ruinous state.
In the afternoon continue to Kompong Khleang floating village, afterwards take a boat to
Bridge of Life´s school. At this school, will learn a about local education and village life. Later,
explore the countryside on vintage jeeps.
Overnight in Siem Reap (B, L)
Visit Angkor Thom with one of the onsite head archaeologists and researchers of this
stunning place. The Angkor Thom complex visit includes: The Bayon temple, Phimeanakas
temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon visit Ta Prohm, a temple that has been mostly
untouched and has been overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple
crumbling to the ground.
In the mid-afternoon, explore the famous and magnificent Angkor Wat temple starting from
Ta Kou entrance (East Gate), walking to Angkor Wat and strolling around this massive
monument. Explore the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and
ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.
In the evening join your fellow travelers on a farewell reception and dinner at a charming
private villa located just west of the ancient city of Angkor Thom, surrounded by rice paddies.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Free time at leisure until check out (12:00) and transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for
departure flight. (B)
