Itinerary
You’ll be whisked from the airport to a beautifully restored Hacienda, a former plantation house located in the Northern Yucatan Peninsula, now a stunning hotel full of culture and history for the delight if its guests. In the evening enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner in the grounds of the hotel.
Hacienda San Jose Cholul (5*)
This morning embark on a private visit to an archeological site, where a team of archaeologists is currently working on excavating the secrets of the Maya. Your visit will be led by the head archeologist.
Continue the expedition in a collapsed 17th-century church in the middle of the jungle for an incredibly atmospheric lunch. After spending some time exploring the grounds that surround the church return to the comfort of the Hacienda to prepare for a very special dinner under the stars.

After breakfast, off for Izamal, a designated Pueblo Mágico of Mexico. In this charming town you’ll be invited into local artisans’ workshops to see them practice their traditional crafts. Lunch deep in the jungle will be followed by a swim at an impressive private cenote – an ancient sinkhole filled with sparkling turquoise waters. Few people have the chance to experience the magic of a cenote without being surrounded by other members of the public.

In the morning make your way to a hidden beach for a chance to see a Pink flamingo reserve. Seeing these beautiful birds in the wild is a highlight of a trip to the Yucatán Peninsula for many. Kayak down the estuary, spotting wealth of other bird life as you go. Afterward, unwind with a gourmet meal on a secluded beach, unknown to most visitors to the area. Back at the hotel, after some free time to enjoy the pool and other facilities, join your fellow explorers for a final dinner.
